The Red Ants Pants Music Festival is one of the largest tourist attractions in the Meagher County area. The famous festival, held in a cattle pasture outside of White Sulphur Springs, draws in nearly 20,000 attendees, effectively overflowing the area with business over the course of three days. Although the festival is not held until July, both Red Ants Pants and faithful attendees are already preparing in anticipation of the upcoming event. On Saturday, April 6, the Red Ants Pants will host its 2024 Music Festival Lineup Block Party.

Although the real festivities won’t be happening until July 25-28, 2024, Red Ants Pants is inviting those who are interested in White Sulphur Springs to hear the release of the 13th annual Red Ants Music Festival's main stage names. Beginning with doors opening at 6 p.m.and the main party following at 7 p.m., the event is free and will be hosted in the Stageline Strand Theater to allow ample room for visitors. In the theater, the Red Ants Pants crew is set to unveil the eagerly anticipated musical lineup, creating a vibrant social scene within the county.

In the past, Red Ants Pants has acquired numerous well-known and liked names to perform in its unique rural setting. These include musicians and bands such as Dwight Yoakam, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band, Merle Haggard, and, most recently, Tanya Tucker. Despite the small town location, the Red Ants Pants Music Festival has made a large name for itself, allowing for a broader reach of artists, which only adds to the anticipation and excitement of the Release Party.

The 2024 Music Festival Release Party will also be streamed live online, as well as into local businesses such as 2 Basset Brewery, the Stockman, the Roadhouse, Bar 47, and the Lane Bar, for those who are unable to acquire a seat in the Stageline Theater. Additionally, at 9 p.m., the Lane Bar will have live music from ShakeDown County in honor of the event.
