The Meagher County Arts Council is a local nonprofit organization run by passionate volunteers dedicated to enhancing the cultural landscape of Meagher County. Through organizing performances, events, and educational programs, MCAC strives to make the arts accessible to everyone in the community. From music and theater to visual arts, MCAC aims to cultivate an appreciation for the arts and create opportunities for local residents to enjoy high-quality performances.
A significant aspect of MCAC’s mission is its outreach to the local school. The council collaborates with the school district to provide educational arts programs to students, offering unique learning experiences that might otherwise be unavailable. This dedication to arts education inspires creativity in young people and fosters a lifelong love for the arts. In addition to its educational initiatives, MCAC frequently sponsors events that showcase top-notch performances in the area. For instance, in September, MCAC hosted “The Winter's Tale” by Montana Shakespeare in the Parks on the Castle Museum Lawn, attracting a large audience.
By attending this fall fundraiser, community members not only get to enjoy an evening of entertainment and good food but also play a vital role in supporting MCAC’s mission to bring quality arts experiences to Meagher County. The funds raised will enable MCAC to continue hosting diverse cultural events, supporting arts education in students, and enriching the lives of residents through creative opportunities.
