The University of Montana’s Real Women Co-Lab is hosting a unique pop-up event on Monday to showcase and celebrate Meagher County women-owned businesses. Running from 1:00pm -4.30 PM, this small fair provides local women business owners with an opportunity to showcase some of their products and/or services within the community highlighting women's pivotal role in economic development locally and across the state. 

The event offers two primary options for showcasing businesses. First, businesses have the opportunity to set up booths at Stone Temple Fitness, creating a central hub to highlight the numerous businesses. In addition to the booth option, businesses located along Main Street are invited to join the storefront tour. This feature allows participants to welcome community members into their spaces, offering a personalized experience right where each business operates. The tour will provide promotional support for each participating business, bolstering a genuine community presence and yielding long-term customer relationships.

The activities for the day will end with a Launch Party at The Edith, an informal social soiree where business owners and supporters can mingle to share stories of women-owned businesses making their mark. Those who miss the showcase can still attend The Launch Party to support and engage with local entrepreneurs in a friendly, casual setting. Those planning to attend the Launch Party are also encouraged to RSVP by the deadline to ensure a smooth experience.

This event holds particular significance for rural areas in Montana, like White Sulphur Springs, where small businesses often serve as the backbone of the community. Events such as these are vital to local entrepreneurs, providing them with a boost when funding resources and networking or promotional opportunities may be scarce. This showcase not only helps weave women-owned businesses more firmly into the economic fabric of Meagher County
but also brings together community members to celebrate the vital role these businesses play.
