Cruising into Halloween

Montana Roadhouse to Celebrate Halloween with Costume Contest and Community Spirit

As the county immerses itself in the vibrant colors and crisp air of fall, anticipation grows for the upcoming holiday of Halloween. From the local Scarecrow Contest to the Annual Fall Festival, the county has begun seasonal activities for all to enjoy. One establishment, in particular, has embraced the change of season with enthusiasm and creativity. Just a few weeks ago, the Montana Roadhouse held its annual Murder Mystery Dinner, captivating guests with this year's Cruise Theme. Now, as the county moves toward the end of the month, the restaurant is set to host another exciting holiday-themed event that promises to bring the community together.

On Friday, October 25th, the Montana Roadhouse will be the venue for a lively Costume Party and Contest. The event will feature Layloni Ghee, a beloved performer known for bringing live music to the region throughout the year. Her performance is set to begin at 8 PM, providing a festive atmosphere to the evening. In keeping with the spirit of community, the Montana Roadhouse has also partnered with local businesses to enhance the festivities, making it a truly community-themed event.

Judging for the costumes will kick off at 9 PM, with participants vying for recognition in eight unique categories, each sponsored by different local establishments. These categories include Overall Best Costume, sponsored by The Garden Shop; Funniest Costume, provided by This-and-That Peddlers; Best Couple, sponsored by The Edith/Showdown; Movie Figure, presented by Black Butte Copper; Historical Figure, courtesy of Bar 47; Most Original, sponsored by Springs Painting; and Most Colorful, by Wild Oats.

The Montana Roadhouse is renowned for hosting a plethora of unique events that appeal to local residents, creating a vibrant hub of social activity. From midget wrestling to festive holiday parties, the Roadhouse plays a significant role in enriching the cultural fabric of the county. As the county transitions into the colder months—a time that often brings isolation for many—the Montana Roadhouse will continue to serve as a welcoming communal spot for everyone to gather, fostering community spirit and connection among its patrons.
