Meagher County's Summer Fun Run Returns

Meagher County Little Belters to host 3rd annual ATV Summer Fun Run.

The Meagher County Little Belters is a recreational organization based in the area. The club represents individuals who enjoy outdoor activities in both winter and summer in the Little Belt Mountains. Throughout the year, the Meagher County Little Belters host unique events that foster a sense of community through shared interests, such as snowmobiling and ATV rides. Following the Fourth of July, the organization is set to host its annual Summer Fun Run. Earlier this year, the club hosted its annual Winter Fun Run during the colder months. The event was well attended, with numerous individuals participating in the snowmobiling activity. In early 2024, the Meagher County Little Belters also donated $250 to three Meagher County-based organizations: the Glick Memorial Scholarship, the Meagher County Food Bank, and the Meagher County Senior Center. On Saturday, July 6, the Meagher County Little Belters will host their 3rd annual Summer Fun Run in Checkerboard. Registration will commence at 8:00 a.m.at the Checkerboard Bar and Grill, with the run starting shortly thereafter at 10:00 a.m.The cost will be $5 per hand, with all hands due back by 5:00 p.m.A limit of 300 tickets will be sold at the event for prizes, with the first prize being $600, the second prize $400, the third prize $200, and the fourth prize $100. In addition to the ATV Summer Fun Run, the Checkerboard Bar and Grill will offer live music and food on-site. Tyler Potter will be performing at the Checkerboard Bar for the Fun Run attendees. The Meagher County Little Belters will also be selling 50/50 tickets and holding drawings for door prizes. The Meagher County Little Belters' upcoming 3rd annual Summer Fun Run represents an opportunity for community members to engage in a local event designed to promote physical activity and community involvement.
